    Great video!!! I was diagnosed with stage 4 parotid squamous cell carcinoma in 2017. I underwent radical head and neck surgery 2018. I refused chemo and radiation, and I am still alive. I believe I am still alive because of God and the keto diet. Keto + 0 sugar + 0 dairy = effective results. After my surgery, I took green tea extract supplements, but I didn't feel well. Green tea extract supplements can be toxic to your liver even in small amounts. I recently started adding some matcha powder (matcha has much higher levels of EGCG than green tea, but it also contains high levels of vit c) to my protein shake in the AM and green tea at lunch. Green tea also has a very short half life. My questions are: 1. Are EGCG supplements toxic to the liver as well? 2. What is the dose of EGCG for cancer patients? Thanks, Rosie

    • @JonasKuehneMD
      @JonasKuehneMD 5 годин тому

      Thank you for comment. Yes, EGCG in larger amounts can be toxic to the liver. It is recommended not to consume more than 800 to 1000 mg daily. I would stick to that recommendation and check the recommendation on the supplement you are purchasing.

    • @JonasKuehneMD
      @JonasKuehneMD 5 годин тому

      The point of the video was to show that many store-bought supplements are highly oxidized by the time we consume them. And unoxidized fresh fish oil can be extremely beneficial for your health. I recommend to purchase a supplement that is IFOS certified and has third-party testing. One good example is viva naturals fish oil.

    Thank you for this great & informative video Jonas ❤ I have been searching for a tablet form of MB for some time now and very excited to find your recommendations. • @JonasKuehneMD
      @JonasKuehneMD День тому

      Thank you kindly for your feedback. Dicalcium phosphate is added to many tablets and medications in small amounts. I could not find out how much of it is contained per tablet. I am not concerned about it causing adverse effects in the small quantities that would be necessary to help with the stability of the pressed tablet.

I’m mostly concerned about children and teenagers consuming TikTok and Instagram videos without having to use their brain. That being said, taking breaks from looking at screens can be very helpful for your health and using those brakes to hike or exercise is probably the best option.

This is a list of what has changed since then: - IBS has gone in just 19 days when I initially took 50.000iU daily for a month - Good quality sleep without breathing issues - The urge to consume sugar and carbs has gone, switched to Keto with ease - Better metabolic health, fat burns faster - Teeth grinding at night stopped - Dental health is now perfect, gum inflammation disappeared and no new holes in my teeth - Libido is back - No more leg cramps at night after exercise - Better mood and less anxiety - No more high blood pressure - Liver encymes on my bloodwork are back to normal This might be the outcome of Vitamin D supplementation and a ketogenic diet in combination which improved my overall health and well being a lot! 😊

    Question! 🙋‍♀️ If someone is getting the injections do they need to get them at specific/close intervals to be best effective? My functional doc recommended a transdermal glutathione spray which I’ve been using for a couple of months. It’s not cheap but I don’t always use 2x day. I feel like I get a small boost from it but I think I need to do even more, especially bc I had a mouth full of mercury from age 8, just had last filling removed a year ago, and then tested pretty high for mold toxicity 9 months ago from our old house that we lived in for 7 years🤦🏼‍♀️ So I def think I need to up my glutathione dose. Maybe I’ll try NAC and injections if I can. We have cauliflower pretty regularly also. Thanks for your great videos! 👍

    • @JonasKuehneMD
      @JonasKuehneMD 3 дні тому

      Thank you kindly! In our clinic, we use glutathione intramuscular injections (400mg) once weekly for people that need increased antioxidant activity. I also do IV glutathione at 800-1200mg for some patients. The transdermal absorption is interesting, but I have not seen good studies to show the bioavailability here. You could try to get an intramuscular injection from your provider to see if you feel a significant difference.

If this was recommended by your primary care physician, you could simply ask if you can get a regular D3 supplement somewhere between 5000 and 10,000 IU and use that on a daily basis, which would give you a similar weekly dose. It’s been 3 months now but I haven’t done a follow-up lab yet. There is confusion because most people talking about it will not demonstrate what an average dose looks like, and will not demonstrate actually taking it. I get the powder of 1gm and mix it with 100ml of distilled water to make a 1% solution. I use a plastic pipette to draw about 3 ml, and squirt this to the back of my throat. I am not all together sure if this is the right way as non of the experts demonstrate it, I just get anecdotes from comments.
